They could have spent 4 years and rolled out a completely new game engine and we would still have the hacks and mods. The pressure need to be placed on Microsoft. They are the ones allowing the console hacks to continue. I was hoping that we wouldn't see console hacks on the XBone but from what I am hearing that is just not the case. As long as people are looking for an edge the console modders will be in business. The only way to create a fair, cheat free playing field is to control the hardware better to prevent the hacked code from being run or detecting it and forcing those who use it to play against other modders. I imagine a game full of invisible enemies would get boring pretty quick.
