Re: Seriously, IW. U guys slowed the game to a time limit crawl with these maps, ieds and nerfing the uav aka satcom.

1) ieds are harder to see/dodge than claymores and betties ever were, there lies the problem and explains why there is a massive outrage against them. on maps like tremor, freefall, stonehaven and stormfront they can camouflage in the environments almost flawlessly.

 

2) uavs do more than help find ppl easier for 30 seconds, they increase pace by encouraging movement, help ppl obtain streaks faster and therefore shorten games from 8 to 10 min range to a more familiar 5-7 min range. in bo2 ghost users had to hop out of camping spots and move if they wanted to counter uav effects that was a good thing. im fully aware of using my teammates position to get decent estimates on the location of enemies (even tho spawns are quite questionable at times). its not like i need pings to go 30-2 or something like that, but in ghost if i want to go 30-2 consistently i need to take a pretty long time to do it and u have to remember we were promised a fast paced game at the reveal event. hirshberg didn't go on stage and say this was gonna be the slowest cod ever, he implied quite the opposite actually.

 

3) fun fact, i was the one of the few ppl that found smgs a bit underpowered in bo2 especially after they savagely nerfed the pdw/msmc. even in close range smgs just didnt or barely had the stopping power to out ttk stuff like the m8a1, an94, hamr, mtar, lsat. bo2 was a an94, hamr, lsat and m8 show for me with the mtar and ksg being used for occasional fun purposes.
