No idea, no one can answer that for you.
With that said, I will give you my advise, but at the end, do what is best for you.
1 - Do not go out and buy a game just to level up a clan. Buy the game only if you like it and want to play it
2 - It is not worth leveling up a clan in BO2. No rewards at all for clans on BO2
3 - At some point they will take Elite down to update for Ghosts. Not sure when.
