One thing which helps (not necessarily the first guy) is a callout as soon as one goes off.
If I see someone on my side has died by IMS, I shout out for them to say where it is (so others can avoid it). I'd guess that;
98% of the time I get silence,
1% of the time I get abuse,
1% of the time it's position get called out,
Sure, it can be moved after positioning, but this make the planter very vunerable when trying to do so.
The IMS should only ever get 1 kill in my opinion.
