Being banned doesn't make you more or less "guilty" either, from what I can tell.
A thorough investigation should probably involve communicating with the person about to be banned.
Do you think Activision will look at this if people stop expressing their frustration?
Yes people should be civil, but what are the demographics for this game? What do you expect? Activision is taking back a service people have already paid for and not providing any explanation or refund.
Then you see responses like "you know what you did, so stop complaining .... the matter has been investigated and we aren't going to change our mind. Period."
Thats not how to keep customers.
People would probably be a bit calmer if they were told why they were being banned, or if Activision recognized that something is very wrong.
I know I have not violated any part of the code of conduct, no one else has access to my account, so if there is something going on with my account I want to know what it is.
I don't hack, cheat, or use bad language or anything else contrary to the policy.
I didn't do anything wrong, so if there is a problem somebody needs to identify it, because its bigger than me.
Yes, I am concerned. (have I been hacked?) Yes I am a little bit angry. No I have not done anything to justify being banned. If there are good reasons, Activision and its security partner needs to let people know.
I have spent hours on this game, and lots of money. DLC and season passes. I played old school activation games back in the days of atari and genesis.
I love the game but no one I know will ever buy another activision product if there no resolution to this problem.
