Good reply admunday, much respect.
One of the reasons I posted this is because I am very accurate and consistent with a sniper, sure sometimes I get it a bit off but that happens to anyone. Knowing my proficiency with the weapon is what brought up the red flag for me the other day when I kept losing long range gun-fights to SMG's, now I wasn't butthurt and not playing up to par, It wasn't because I was dying through my own incompetence, it was because I was dying before the scope ADS would finish without any time to aim. Like I said, it may have been a bad connection which usually results in games like this.
Don't get me wrong, I love CoD for what it is, that's the reason I'm playing CoD not battlefield and have titanfall but still long for a good game on CoD, I love how weapons have their strengths and weaknesses but with a bit of skill can be used outside of their comfort zones. But with a low playerbase on ghosts especially XB1 which means that a lot of games I play have the sort of insta-death lag I wonder if an SMG buff is only going to feel like the TTK has been shortened making the game feel more choppy. That and I just think IW should stop balancing weapons, it seems to do more bad than good and in which case, if the SMG's were out balanced by AR's than it should of been ARs that took a hit IMO if anything TTK needs to feel a little slower. Even then I think there are 100's issues out there that would benefit the game more than any weapon buff/nerf.
Generally speaking I would love it if IW/Activision would just be honest with the community. I have much less respect for them for just keeping quite, hiding under a rock than I would if they came out and just be straight with us like "alright guys were bringing out an SMG buff and this is why. . . " or "alright guys we're sorry for the campaign loading issue, unfortunately we encountered some problems and it's proving difficult to fix" Having issues with a game is annoying, but I cant be-grudge someone who is straight with me, we all make mistakes, we all mess things up, it's a fact of life. XB1 for example: released wayy to early, but I have a load of respect for MS for coming out and basically admitting they messed up and have proved that they are doing to work to get the console up to par with regular good updates. Yes the console came out like a bag of crap, but knowing the guys are apologetic and clearly wanting to get it right, have made the difference between getting a PS4 and sticking with my XB1
