Re: the lightning strike.

It's not that I find the lightning strike overpowered, it's really the map design and lack of spawn protection which makes the lightning strike seem overpowered.

 

Removing the scan will still make the lightning still easy to get multi-kills, it just requires common sense and spawn knowledge to know where to position the lightning strike.

 

The same applies to Hellstorm Missiles, Lodestars (player controlled scorestreaks)

 

I understand players hate the idea of spawn protection but one of the reasons why players rage quit so often is due to dying straight after spawn from scorestreaks. Not that I rage quit myself but really because players constantly rage quit once I use those type of scorestreaks.
