Please point out where you said LMGs are easy to use, hard to counter and that thermal removes gunkick (meant this over viewkick) on an already low recoil weapon (despite it being an LMG) when it should have its recoil increased if anything. "Should the gun bounce more when you lay down with the gun propped on the bipod?"... I'm not talking about recoil in different stances, I'm talking about the thermal sight, which removes recoil whether you're prone or standing and simply adds a tiny amount of visual recoil, which has no effect on accuracy whatsoever.

 

Typical Call of Duty style? Fast-paced action. It certainly isn't a mil-sim, and it will never win awards for realism. The day that the majority of CoD players prefer playing against an entire team of people laying down using thermal M27s just because it's easy (or realistic) is the day that CoD dies, because no one would move, no one would encounter anyone and every game would end 0-0. Does that sound enjoyable to you?

 

Why are you posting a link to a video as though I said suppressed LMGs don't exist? I said it's very rare for them to be used together.

 

I already do better than said players; I do well without having to resort to cheap tactics, so I'm automatically doing better. My point is that dying to such easy BS all the time is frustrating, whereas I can have a game full of legit gunfights and win or lose BUT ENJOY MYSELF all day long. The idea behind playing a game is purely for recreation (unless you're at the CoD Champs, I guess), and it's supposed to be fun, not frustrating or boring. There may be a situation where you kill me from 50m (in-game distance) while camping with a thermal LMG in Kill Confirmed just because you saw the tiniest bit of white glowing in the distance, but if I gave you an assault rifle with iron sights and stalker and you were given instructions to move around in a game, and you played like the majority of people in CoD, you wouldn't have nearly as easy a time, especially at that kind of range. I certainly wouldn't mind if you outgunned me with skill though; I always appreciate the challenge that comes with facing a good player.

 

"Adapt"? That's original. Why don't you adapt? You see how petty and petulant that seems when it's aimed back at you? When I'm forced to gimp my loadout to ADAPT to a camper running a thermal LMG, giving me a harder time against regular players that don't need easy mode optics, incog best damn work against all the thermal and tracker sights I'm facing...but it doesn't, because the thermal attachment is too clear for incog to work properly, and the tracker sight only offers a tiny bit less all round visibility, like the Maverick scope. When I slap on a blast shield class because poor little Timmy No Thumbs has to rely on two IEDs per respawn to make up for 50% of his total kills as he's too worried about his pathetic KD to venture away from his dark corner, I don't expect to die just as I would have anyway, because my health is so low that it just takes one shot for the forever in ADS guy to kill me, meaning I'm at the disadvantage regardless of the fact that I'm using a "counter" class as I try to "adapt" to cheap tactics. Why don't I use a danger close class, you might ask? Because it's too expensive to be used for anything other than trolling, and it still gets hitmarkers when you try to take someone out from a distance. Riot shield + C4 is out thanks to some idiot that started trolling with it in SnD, which then spread to every game mode leading to a nerf.

 

If I run blast shield, I can't afford to run the useless incog, or nades + double lethal/tactical or strongarm or reflex on top of dead silence (generally a must as standard in this game, especially against campers) and regular mobility, handling, awareness or stealth perks, otherwise I'm at a disadvantage to all of the good players on the enemy team. But does the camper have to use mobility or sound perks? Nope. No quickdraw, ready up, stalker, agility or dead silence needed (though many run amplify). He can just stick to incog (renders recon useless), double lethal and/or tacticals, amplify and maybe blast shield because he has plenty of perk points for them all, and have a field day because he's not at a disadvantage, all because he refuses to ADAPT to others that can play normally. Why should I adapt to the wish of the minority?

 

Anyway I'm not entirely sure why I'm having this conversation with you. You've openly admitted to camping in order to killwhore on Kill Confirmed while saying "everyone thinks the way to play the game is to...finish the game", so you may as well just stop typing and save yourself any further embarrassment.

 

At the end of the day, the thermal M27 (we were talking about just the weapon, and my points still stand) is the only thing that can be considered anywhere near "OP" (low recoil, high centerspeed, 100 round magazine despite having the fastest LMG reload, almost non-existant recoil with the free thermal attachment, no need for a grip especially with thermal, irons when not using thermal, damage, range, rpm and ability to use rapid fire, and how easily the "drawbacks" to using it are countered, mainly by a playstyle which is making Ghosts boring as fu¢k as a very much unwanted side-effect). How the Bizon and MTAR deserved a nerf when this has been increasingly abused from day one is mind-boggling.
