Popped my thread cherry too lol I never bothered to make threads in the past because, well, everything had been said and I could usually explain problems away easily enough.
This one, however, I could not look past. This was a blatant lie, or else their in-house tested logic which worked there, completely sh*t the bed on the open servers.
I'm certainly not bashing the developers or patch support team, but this was a huge dropped ball today. I figured, at first, that as the day went on the algorithm logic would work itself out, sometimes it acts funny hours after a patch, but it's only gotten worse and worse each hour. I stopped playing an hour ago because it had gotten completely unplayable due to this. Half my clan bailed over the course of my last three games (though only a couple were playing with me at the time), and those of us together just split off grumbling and dishearten that everything had basically gone to hell in a handbasket within a 12 hour span.
Tonight we experienced unplayable spawn logic to the point that the game itself became unplayable without copious amounts of alcohol... lol
The worst part is Clan Wars start tomorrow, and already our leader, who I didn't play with or talk to at all until a bit ago, is seriously considering calling it off for us and sending a mass message out to not even bother trying to compete. He was playing Extinction all day I guess, played about ten games of multiplayer just a bit ago and suddenly he's sending voice messages going "The hell happened? The patch butchered multiplayer playability... who's getting fired for this f*ck up?!" lol
I kept getting texts from people not on my list anymore but friends all the same asking if the spawning in Ghosts was particularly horrible since after today's patch, or if it was just them.
I think everyone should just jump over to the IW twitter and gently inform them that their "Improved Spawn Logic broke the Spawn Logic" or something to that effect... lol
