They decided to make IED's in this game, because did you get on here during the other games? That's all people complained about was claymores and bouncing betties. I personally hate the IED also, but they wanted to try some new to see how well it adjusted and to see if people liked them over the claymores and bouncing betties. You should be glad though of the recent update now you can at least survive them without blast shield.
