I agree with you about there being a lack of a solid community on here. This should be a place where we come together to discuss our thoughts however many posts I read and even posts I make we get slammed by other forum member for stating our opinions.
What most don't realise is that I as well as others who they are slamming have played Call of Duty since game 1 and most of the people slamming us probably started from mw3 or blops 2 as you stated.
I could give an in depth list of factual opinions of what would make a Call of Duty game great but I'd get slammed for it.
