I think the problem is that most extinction fans bought the map packs and have jumped onto the next part of the story and not bothering with point of contact anymore tbh I don't think it's down to any connection issues hence why you keep getting paired up with 7 year olds so I think the only option is either to play solo or buy the map packs I hope that solved your problem
